L.O.L Surprise Confetti Pop is set to be popular again this year. Just in case you didn’t know, in 2016, when this popular toy line was put on the store shelves, Target sold out instantly. Each week in December, the product’s sales increased by a staggering 500% and so far, over 2.5 million dolls have been sold throughout the world. Read on and see why it is so popular.
Isaac Larian, CEO of MGA developed this idea after he watched kids and the popular unboxing trend unfold. The kids seemed to love it, and he wanted to come up with a toy that did exactly that. Now, here we are, looking at series three of L.O.L Surprise and it’ll be making its way to store shelves later this year.
What is L.O.L Surprise Confetti Pop?
L.O.L Surprise Confetti Pop is basically a ball that is the size of your hand. Children unwrap layers of the surprise (this comes from the unboxing trend) in order to discover what they got. In the end, there’s a doll that the little ones can then bathe with water in order to find their surprise water feature.
This ball comes in a happy yellow color and it is surrounded with a lot of images of question marks and confetti.
Nine Surprises
This Surprise Confetti Pop has 2 more hidden surprises than the original L.O.L Surprise dolls. This means there are a total of nine surprises for the children to discover – this is definitely a new way for the little ones to unbox their dolls, and I must say, I like the idea.
What Are The Nine Surprises?
With each surprise that leads up to the doll, the one unboxing this item is going to receive a hint at which doll is waiting for them at the end.
1st Surprise – When you unzip the first layer (you’re really ripping the plastic in a way that makes it look as if you’re opening up a zipper), you will see a secret message sticker. That right there is the first clue to which doll is waiting for you. When I opened up mine, there was a picture of a rock and drums. From there, it sounds like I was going to be getting some doll that has something to do with music.
2nd Surprise – Next, you have collectible emoji-looking stickers.
3rd Surprise – Next, you’ll find a ring tattoo that is adorable. On mine, I noticed a microphone in the center and it was surrounded by music notes and sheet music. That’s even more of a clue …
4th Surprise – The fourth surprise is a new unwrapping process – there’s a plastic piece that unveils four more bags. Everyone unwraps their next four surprises in whatever order they choose.
5th Surprise – The next bag I opened up was an adorable little fashionable accessory (a choker). This tells me that my little doll has a pretty good sense of style. Some other accessories children can find in this bag are cat ears, sunglasses and much more.
6th Surprise – My sixth surprise was a baby bottle pop – it’s a soda can that has the words “POP!” written on it. It’s a nice little charm.
7th Surprise – I got a cute little pair of pink boots. You could also get cowgirl boots, roller skates, and more.
8th Surprise – With this one, I understand why it’s called Confetti Pop. Find the ribbon and pull it, you’ll see what I mean.
9th Surprise – Finally, here we are, at the grand finale! Among all that confetti, you’re going to find your surprise doll.
